Pollo inka?? What is that. I'm starting to worry maybe there is someone else lurking around. Then again my wife drives it as much as I do so....

pollo inka is a place to eat off of N Sharon Amity right after Albemarle Rd.

All i know is that it was a G4.... how many could there be in Charlotte.

By the way, my car is at Land Rover of Greensboro.... From my first hand experience very nice and helpful. They have an Event going on Oct. 6th its $50.00 per car and it includes a lunch. Meet up at the LR dealer and caravan to Biltmore estates. I will be there. Hopefully i can get to see some of these sweet rigs soon

I don't believe we have been over in that part of town lately. Well...I come home from work down Harris and that is pretty close to that area. Anyway...I was only aware of mine in charlotte and another in Raleigh. I will have to look into this event in October. It sounds fun. My wife has never been to the Biltmore. Thanks for the advice on LR Greensboro. I will call and see what we can work out timewise.

Cheers, Josh

I think I figured out where the other G4 is. My wife just met someone today that lives in Marshville(?) that has a G4. That is probably the other one that has been seen running around. We are in Matthews so I'm sure people will see us frequently around there.

Is there a day of the week that ya'll would be able to easily get together and have a beer and drool over some rover stuff? Mondays and Wednesdays are bad for me but I can make any other time work. Lets figure sometime out to meet.

Cheers, Josh

How about Thursday evening 7 or so at South 21 out on hwy. 74 in Matthews?

I've been hankering for one of them coronary inducing Poor-boy burgers along with a good excuse to pull the 109 out.

I think thats a great idea. That is really close to me so any time will work. What does everyone think...6 or 7? I'm excited to see the 109. Everyone else come to. I'll post on the general forum and probably over at Dweb and maybe croc. This should be fun.

Cheers, Josh

Saturday I made a run in the 109sw up to Dallas to lend a hand in loading a slid-in camper in preparation for an up-coming fishing trip.... On the way back to Matthews traveling east on hwy 74 "Independence blvd"at about 4:00 in the afternoon spotted traveling west a white series "?" 109 full tilt, just west of Albemarle Rd.....
I stuck out a hand in waving .. .... but didn't see a response... ...
Then rite shortly after when I got to the other side of Idlewild and was pulling up to the light at 74 and Conference looked up and here come liken the D-90 of my fantasies or in least one of the most smartly kitted out defenders I've ever run across.

holy crap, i was just getting ready to post up saying i saw a white series with a tan top. Right hand drive too. I saw that guy on 74 heading towards charlotte infront of Best Buy. I too waved but saw nothing. Very nice looking series.

taking the girlfriend back to Wingate U. came across a dark green DII with a brush guard, i waved, he waved.... we had a moment. I love it when people know what they drive.

I have also gotten a good number of P38 white Range Rovers to wave. Keeping the eyes open on the road for others,

Scott

EDIT: for others i have seen i am in a white 2000 Discovery with an "A" bar and 2 hella 500's (black on the inside) as well as a 2" OME lift (not easily seen) and a rear sticker on the window of an old seires.

Awww....defenders.....series....even kitted out no less....I'm drooling. Yep, its about time to start planning a proper get together. Monday and Wednesday nights are bad for me but yell out some nights/dates that work for ya'll. Weeknights in Sept are best because most weekends are football. Lets get as many people involved as possible. Whatcha think?

Cheers, Josh

PS...I was in Raleigh this weekend and got one out of maybe 10 rovers to wave at me. Clueless yuppies in Cary...I tell you what!!
