Welcome to NY. I wish I could help with off-road site down by you, but I am a few hours north of you. There are a few members that live in NYC/NJ that off-road a lot. One of them is Rmuller (His name is Ryan) and he is a mod on here. Might want to try to send him a pm on here and maybe he can direct you to some places. I know they use to have a monthly meet in NJ, not sure if they still do, but if I were you I'd try to get in contact with him about off-road stuff down near you.

I heard my name being called!

I don't know of any wheelin' on Long Island really, you may want to check with other 4wheel clubs around there and see where they are running.. here's one to look into LONG ISLAND OFF ROAD CLUB

If wheelin' locally we usually do Rausch Creek in PA, or Pine Barrens in Southern NJ... but we basically end up having to travel.. upstate NY, Canada, Virginia, etc.. we're going to Maine next weekend for Winter Romp... then Utah in September for Land Rover National Rally...

Welcome to NY J.T.

You don't mention if you have a stock LR3 or modified, but I can tell you that LIOR is a pretty hardcore club. I used to be a member when I lived in Forest Hills Queens.

If you're not into rock crawling (NE style, not as hardcore as the west side) then you might want to consider going to the Pine Barrens (just make sure to wash your truck well afterwords, that sand gets into everything).

There are trails in upstate NY, western MA, VT, NH, etc...

My suggestion would be to meet up with some of the local guys and get some ideas from them.

Whatever you do, stay away from Steve Usher!!! hehehehe

Good luck and welcome.
