Anyone wanna head up to the North GA mountains next saturday October 3rd? I was thinking Beasley Knob, but if anyone wants to come and not do trails that are so demanding we could hit up amicalola or suches. Let me know!!! I am going no matter what and I would love some company! Come on bama...you know you wanna come!

I would like Amicalola unless a stock 99 Disco 2 with a cut front bumper, CDL, and 265/75/16 MT's could handle Beasley Knob. I have never been there, but heard you should have a lift first.
Would anybody mind my 4 and 7 year old come along they love to offroad in the Rover.

your rover would be fine at amicalola. back when i last went to beasley...you would need a lift, or at least sliders...
we all love family and friends so it doesn't matter who you bring. just keep them out of the path of trucks and it's all good. everyone loves (that i know) when kids/wife/girlfriend/friends come along

Great, when you say Amicalola is that the Nimblewill, Bucktown loop. That is where we go most of the time.

yep. you can get into amicalola without paying through nimblewill. the ranger told a group of 5-6 trucks that it was okay. they just want us to police the area from all the people tearing up the land.
amicalola is great for family/friend/girlfriend bonding, but for wheeling there are far better places.
drum, since beasley is closed would you like to do some camping, hiking and super light wheeling at amicalola next weekend?
i've never been out there before and i'd love to take my dog and a girl out there for a relaxing weekend together. if i'm really lucky, i'll be able to get some snake hunting in too while i'm there.
