Maine is only two roads away from you. Just get on I-90 and when you hit I-95 outside of Boston take a left. In about an hour you'll hit "Vacation Land"!
It's like we're neighbors.

Two Lights is an awesome place. The rocks and the crashing surf is just amazing. I couldn't even imaging swimming out there.
Jet Blue will start flying out of Portland at the end of May so it will make it cheaper to come back and visit.

It sucks, I thought I liked rain to have fun in, and go through puddles with, but it has been raining contuniously for the last week in MI, and really the same thing in Ohio. It is real irritating!!

Thank God it stops this Friday!!

Okay this rain crap needs to just stop now. I have a new ponds all over my yard now from all the rain. The grass is only getting higher and going to be more of a pain to cut as well. It stopped raining yesterday for like 2 hours and started back up. Woke up this morning to no rain and then an hour later it started and hasn't stopped yet.

We've had over 15 inches here in Portsmouth and it just let up slightly today, although it is supposed to keep raining until tomorrow. Thank god I have been on my ship through all of this because everywhere around me is under water. I went out to pump the bilges on my cutters 2 smallboats and they were full. After standing outside for 2 minutes I was soaked through. I hope the lakes in northern Maine are benefitting from all the rain, at least I won't have a problem getting a fire permit. So far we haven't been called out to dewater anyone's house but it is still raining pretty hard out there.
