I'm in Plymouth, MI. I think you said you were from Troy, MI? But right now I'm in Lima, OH attending an Automotive Technology School. I come home on most weekends.

Hey, I am in Michigan. The dreaded Upper Peninsula! I just bought a 98 Disco. Right now I am gathering some "cosmetic" parts to make it whole again. Nice to meet you!

Hey , hey, a Yooper(or are you a transplanted troll?)! Whereabouts are you up there? I used to spend TONS of time up there when I was closer. Mostly up past L'anse toward Skanee in the Huron Mtns. also spent alot of time in the Keweenaw north of Houghton/Hancock, but been pretty much all over and miss it. Spent a week up there last June and hoping to get back up there this summer for a week too.

Rovey...

Where in the UP? I'm in Green Bay.

Let me know what parts you need for the Disco. I might be able to help.

I am in the Sault so it is the Eastern UP. I attend Lake State (one more year to go) but I have lived here all of my life. I am pretty new to the whole Land Rover thing. So far I found that it goes through snow well which is the main reason I bought it other than the fact that it is a LAND ROVER! I have also found that it doesn't care for the cold too much although it has started every morning and I have yet to get a block heater installed.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to get a cheap soft spare tire cover that says Land Rover on it?

Again nice meeting everyone!

Hi guys, I live real close to Grand Rapids, MI. I have had my '96 D1 for less than 5 months so I'm pretty new too. I got sick of driving a RWD car in winter and all I can say is there is no substitute for 4WD!

I'm a new Land Rover owner and live in the south suburbs of Grand Rapids. I just bought a '96 Disco XD and can't wait to start driving it once I repair the head gasket. I think all of us Grand Rapids guys need to have a get together some time. I'd love to meet some other enthusiasts.

Did you buy that yellow Discovery in Sparta ? I looked at it but waited to long. Was a nice car.
I sign up for getting together. How many Grand Rapids owners are there on this forum ?
