Central Iowa area LR service

Following the demise of the Des Moines dealership this week, it looks as if the 'dealership service' has been taken over by the local Mercedes dealership (the Mercedes dealership was part of the dealership group that also held the LR franchise before they were purchased last week). As yet I don't know if the LR service folk moved to the Mercedes dealership or not.

There is also an independent service facility (Beckley Automotive Services) that has at least one really good ex-dealer trained mechanic (if not more). They can be reached at http://www.beckleyauto.com

As posted elsewhere, the dealer service is now done by the Betts Auto Group, and they'll be picking up the dealership shortly.

I also found out over the last week that Kreugers BP on SE 14th & Indianola (515) 287 2900 have been doing a lot of the LR heavy duty servicing the last year or so (basically offloading the dealership), so they're also a good independent service facility in the area.
