Hey...wondering if you any of you guys know any LR mechanics in the south cental part of Indiana?
I can never get ahold of the Indy dealer for some reason. I'm a bigger fan of private mechanics anyway....if they exist in the Midwest.. ![]() |

I do know of a couple of mechanics from the local LR dealer here in Louisville that do side work. These guys aren't hacks either. Depends how far you are from the 'Ville, because the dealership here is also top notch, from the parts, to the service writers, and the mechanics! They are good people!
.....................and no, I do NOT work for this dealer!! ![]() |

I did hear that dealership just blew the Indianapolis one away. (No offense to anyone who works there... )You don't work there huh? You just get a big commission for recruiting new business? LOL! ![]() |

When time permits me to head your way...I'll just set up a time. THANK YOU for making yourself known!![]() |

My doors will not lock....the back windows won't go down.....most of the interior lights went out..... I need a few parts as well....Do you program keyless remotes? I've tried EVERYTHING to program mine according to the instructions.....DOES NOT WORK!! I think it's a myth that you can do it yourself.... Anyway...that's just to sum up my Disco problems. Rumor has it that you are a mechanical genius!![]() |

The interior lights use to work w/a little smack on the dash... ...until I tried fixing the clock....removed it...and put it back in... The back windows quit at that same time. The back switch to the sunroof also went out at the same time... The anti-lock light stays on constantly. The key will not turn in the driver's side. WD-40 worked before...someone did tell me which part I needed for that I guess...if it is that. The alarm goes off if I unlock from the passenger side... Now...being that most of this craziness is electrical....and I have a fear of being shocked.... ..LOL.....I'm leaving that to someone else....![]() |

Give my BIL a call, he found a good mechanic that knows LR's and has been working on his 98 RR there in Bloomington. My BIL's number is 812-278-4645 and his name is Brian, tell him Craig said he would be able to give the info on his LR mechanic.
