This is funny! My step is tied up w/a pc. of rope right now....so, no harm done if I come crashing down on something I shouldn't....

Hey DAN!
The exhaust is kind of buried here too.

Blake keeps bugging me to modify it a bit.

As long as I don't have to back up and peel it backward...

Kelli if your rear step is shot take it off of there, it is really easy to do.

Dan sweet pic, although that shot is nothing compared to haw bad that back end of your truck was stuffed on the steep hill! We were all amazed at how tough the D2 back bumpers are.

Well...While waiting for someone to post up THOSE pics, Here is one from the trip before this last one (when it was just us two). It's one of our "poser" shots from Plumber's Crack.

It's probably just that little gas spring thingy and could be fixed pretty easy.

Unless you have no real use for it like a rear ladder and roof rack, you could probably get it off there pretty easily.

The hydraulic pc. is what is bad. I wish I did have it working. It'd help me out reaching the 'ole briefcase when it slides around....

In both cases, it was engine problems.

I'm thinking fuel pump on my D90, I checked the fuses on the fuel pump, and fuel injection and there fine. Don't know about the relay for the fuel pump, but I can't here the pump comming on when I turn the ignition. It may be the orginal pump. The truck turns over but will not fire. One minute the truck ran fine the next it would not start, just like that.

Sometimes, if you rap on the gas tank with a rubber mallot, you can get the pump to come to life long enough to verify that is what the problem is.

Not sure if yours is in the tank, but you get the idea.

You could also try spraying a little starter fluid into the throttle body to see if it pops a little when cranking. That would also verify that it is a fuel problem as well.

Try the cheap relay first, but agreed if the fuel pump is original, culprit or not I would replace.

Chop that damn resonator off, just for peace of mind if for anything. While your underneath your truck take off your brush bar for better approach angles and take your sways off too while your at it.

Stop it man, your giving me a complex!!!

I will do the exhaust mod before we go out again.

I'll try to work on that brush guard too (maybe I'll just chop the bottom off).

As soon as I have HD springs, I will take off the sway bars.

Right now, I just have to get it to where I can drive it.

Too many irons in the fire...
