Can a brush guard be in the way on some spots at Livingston?

It totally decreases your approach angle and at Livingston you need every bit of that that you can get!

We have talked about going to Harlan - it's about 7 hours drive so it might not be until after we are tired of Livingston before we make the trip. Looks like a wonderful place to wheel...

Not tired of Livingston yet, although, I would like to get to the gorge sometime soon.

Opinions, do you think I can get these folds straight again or close to it?

You may be able to get it close, but not perfect.

You may be able to extend your winch line out, around a pulley on a tree or something, then back to the bumper. This way, you may have better control of how much you bend the bumper back out.

The part that is buckled can then be hammered (although you may want to take it off for that), but may never be quite the same.

Peace,

Dan

A friend of mine did the same thing to her ARB... I suppose we could bend it back to get it close to original...but we are going to cut it and weld on new, stonger end pieves..... at the same time give her RRC a beter approach angle!

Andy, that must of been a pritty hard hit to bend it like that.
Didn't Matt say something like if you heat it up hot and cool it down fast Steel tends to pop back to its original position? or some thing like that?
Not sure though. You might want to talk to him about it.

The reason my truck guite running on the trip, was that the inertia switch was tripped cutting the fuel off all together. Typical something so easy to fix, but could not figure it out in the woods. It was strange the switch must have been stuck, because it did not cut the fuel off all at once like it should. Although if I had not stopped at check my hella's the truck may have shut off by it's self. Land Rovers are always a learning experience, and I learned a big one today. I could have saved $150.00 in a tow, and would have had some fun on Sanday. Typical. Ohh yea as for the bumper, and the fender I'm going to go with the flow on that for now.
