RoverChic: Nice avatar, I went to the University of Utah (for the 100+ days of skiiing each year) for my undergrad. Oh the stories. NY to NM is quite a ride for a meeting or trail! What's the story?
I was one of the original members, and I wrote for the Newsletter a bit! But I've since moved to Colorado. But not before I was given a plaque entitiling me to 'Lifetime Membership'! hahaha Heady eh?
FunRover: I'm in Highlands Ranch. I noticed you're in the Springs, Do you know the Pikes Peak guys? or are you one?

Thanks for the welcome!
It's a long strange story....Suzanne M is a dear friend of mine along with her son, Clay. Rob saved my truck on a drive from MOAB back to Dallas. Met Jackie, Susan and a few other members, had a great time. By far the best club I have ever wheeled with, very impressed with their hospitality and friendliness.

RoverChic: If you have a pink rear diffguard.... I've heard of you also. Suzanne is a kick, eh?
FunRover: I've been to Pikes Peak rovers in person only once because of the distance.... but Eric is a great guy... he helped me sort out some small detail stuff by helping pull parts off an old RR carcas he has.
We did go off roading last Saturday. South of Sedalia there is a road that goes up and over a few sets of mountains and out the other side. On a map its Hwy 67 to 105 to Dakan over the mountains to 67 again back to Sedalia. It's normally a quick and easy run, and can be free of snow longer, We had a mix of dry to 6" deep snow. Lots of fun. Got to use the lockers on and off to keep on the trail. Range Rovers make strange handling snowmobiles!
