I was able to find my motor, but i still cant find the cage. I assume you have removed your motor already. when my 88 sounded like WWII, I ordered a motor/fan right away. turned out that the set screw on the fan to motor shaft backed off. tightening the set screw was all it needed!

I finally found the cage, and you don't want it. It got crushed while getting moved around the shed. the motor is in great shape if you are intrested, but as much work as it is to change,do you REALLY want to go used?

I just took this blower motor out of my 1985 Range Rover. Take a look at the photos. I think this will work for you. It certainly looks like the one from 1987-88. I can always send it to you to try. I know the motor was working perfectly when it was in my truck.
Cheers, Paul |
