Clean them first.
They are simple and easy to work on. I have a link on my site for that. |

If cleaining them doesn't work I have a pair up for auction on Ebay that had a starting bid of $10 with no reserve. They were in good working order and were taken out of an '89. I don't have the link on hand but if you do a search under the user name spupilup they will come up. I always have between 100-200 items up for sale on Ebay at any given moment.

For 10$ I wouldn't even bother cleaning them.
It will take you more than 10$ worth of time to take them apart and put them together. Thanks Paul. |

Thanks for the kit Ron, I was able to clean all the corrosion and replace the little ball bearings. Both work like new. Best 12 bucks I've ever spent.
I'll keep my truck away from the ocean in the future. |
