Actually, the correct vernacular is "Tropical Roof". It came with 4 roof vents into the car's interior. Plastic standoffs mounted it to the main roof panel. It is quite effective and can reduce the overall temperature of the interior by up to 10 degrees! This tropical panel was also available for truck cabs without the vents.
These roofs are relatively scarce at this point and good to excellent examples of them command a premium. BTW, I'm new to the site and look forward to it! ![]()
