Looking for a 12vdc REP 8000 motor

Have your tried to rebuild it, I rebuilt my warn last year, pretty easy.

REP8000 is the Ramsey planetary model, Yes? I had a Ramsey 12000 lb. worm gear winch with a bad motor and had an auto electric shop rebuild it. It's not significantly different than an starter motor.

it is the same as the unit sold at harbor freight. they have parts. harborfreight.com
