Found a 94 disco for $1200. Don't have too many details on it yet, all I know is, it's black, needs some TLC, and hasn't been driven for a month. Owner says it also "has some miles", but its local and the guy lives in a rich area. Details to come. I'm not holding my breath or anything
alright. 240k miles, salvage title, no damage, no idea why it was salvaged, reg expired in june, runs well, says it prob. needs a power steering pump, auto trans, color black. He's negotiable. Any thoughts? I know 240k is alot, I'm not too happy about the salvage title either however if it runs, it runs. I plan on turning this into a hybrid since I use my motorcycle 80% of the time.
Any thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated. Going to look at this tomorrow afternoon
for the price of the new power steering pump you'll need on the salvage title Disco, why wouldn't you add that to what you were willing to spend on something already working? The two examples posted earlier seemed reasonable and had fewer miles...
