Default Bored and since everyone likes pics (12)...

Had the day off today so I tinkered around on the Rover and went for a drive. Pics speak for themselves. The views are repetitive but different angles of the truck... I know someone is going to bust my balls about the camel trophy stickers but whatever. They are covering up some large dents and scratches that I was sick of looking at. Enjoy.

Not personally crazy about body lifts but I really like that truck (aside from the CT stickers ) hehe

What size tires are you running?

Thanks for sharing. I've commented about your truck in the past.... looks great!
Would love to see some pictures of the BIG ROVER on some bigger trails than the beach though.

You and me both man. I really just got the truck to the point where I would feel comfortable taking into some serious terrain. It had some reliability issues and alot of matainence that need to be taken care of. Also, I am in a kind of secluded area in florida which has a very limited 4x4 community. I could go mudding with some of the good ol boys and thier chevys but so far have chosen not to. I am moving back to CT next month so expect to see some pics more to your liking soon.

Do you notice the Roof rack, spare, smokey the bear tools up top?

I'm probably putting my spare up top to get some more cargo space, but trucks tend to lean a bit here in CO! Note My highlift is bolted to the rear passenger floor to keep weight lower, so it won't be joining my tire.

I know what you mean by keeping weight low, especially with over 6 inches of lift, but the rack is lightweight aluminum. I would say it is at least half the weight of a brownchurch. It is no where near as strong but it does the job. My Hi lift is a 60'' which there was no way I was bolting inside the truck unless I removed the rear seats. The shovel, axe and lights add very little weight. So all in all, not too bad. However, I do plan on building a rear bumper with a swing away tire carrier in the future. I about pull a nut mussle everytime I have to lift the spare onto the rack.
