I've got a 1/2 rack, and a Defender stock spare mount that sandwiches the support bars of the rack to hold the spare. Should be fun to align those studs! I'm having a ladder fabbed up from the rack to the bumper to help in the spare tire on/off process!

Stock rear diff for now. I may do another trutrac but no Locker in the rear yet untill I go to heavy duty axles. The 24 spline was a step up from the 10 but still not strong enough for a locker. As far as the inside goes, its in good shape. Winchester grey, removed carpet with black bedliner painted floors.

Gotcha about the knob. Now that you described it, I think I can make it out in the pics. Interesting work around.

remove plastic bumpers, replace with metal winch bumpers, add winch, maybe add about 2" lift, metal jackable side steps, offset wheels with MT tyres, spotlights, lights bar on roof, protection plates for axle, tank, steering....
at the moment already having about 2" lift as I'm using King Springs and Koni shocks....but total will have 4" after mod....but afraid that I will lose stability due to high CG while driving on the road...... |
