You might remeber a couple years ago I posted about trying to wrestle a GDE from a somewhat shady dealer in town. It was subsequently bought by someone else here in Austin that became a Texas Rovers member.
Well, he put it up for sale a couple weeks ago and I went over to look at it. After some quick negotiating we agreed on a price and I drove home in what I'd always considered to be 'my' Rangie. Every time he'd show up to wheeling events I'd needle him on snatching my truck out from under me. He did put a lot of upgrades into it. It's got a Rovertym lift, OME shocks, and running on 265/75s, a roof rack, and many small fixes he did over the past two years. It runs great. So I'm now the proud owner of GDE #101. Just over 102,000 miles on the clock. Interior is in amazingly good condition. Exterior is decent also. Needs some work with rubbing compound. Missing the rear light guards and someone removed the big Great Divide sticker off the rear tailgate at some point in the past. If anyone has a GDE that could take a nice close up shot of that sticker next to something for size comparison I'd greatly appreciate it. I want to have one made up in vinyl to apply to it. On to the pics. I've only got a couple but hope to get it out on a trail soon. The Defender is currently laid up with a wonky clutch so no side-by-side pics yet. ![]() ![]()

![]() I used to have some decent promo shots of the original GDE trucks but lost them in a HDD crash. Does anyone happen to have decent pics of the originals on the trail?

We're headed out to the lake today. I'll get another pic for you with all the windows rolled up. It looks very sharp with the tinting all the way around.
