I am now part of the Lifted Rovers club!!!
Did the lift today with my buddy, in about 3 hours, not too bad. Real easy install, hardest part was only the installation of the new Pro Comp shocks. The bushings were hard to get seated in the bottom mounts. Other than that, everything went together sweet!! ![]() After removing the old springs and shocks, we noticed that the springs were all different sizes. The shocks were just beat, like we flipped one upside down in out hand, and we saw it compress on itself. Real worn crap. ![]() The springs gained me, not 2", not 3", but an unexpected 4"!! We took a measurement before, and the clearance from the tire to wheelwell was 2". After the lift, the measurement increased to 6"!!! I was not expecting that, but I am real fine with it!! The ride is nice!! Like a brand new truck. The axle flex has improved too!Enough talk, here are some pics. Can't wait to see how she does off road in Tennessee in a couple of weeks! ![]()

That is cool Disco12!! Being lifted is awesome!
Let's put it this way, I was to excited about the lift, that after pulling into the driveway to show everyone else, I fell out of the truck rather than just taing a step down, it is a real step down now!! ![]() Bene, those springs are Rovertym 2" lift springs, got them from Arsell, and the shocks I got from DAP, the Pro Comp ES9000. ![]() I need some 31"s! LOL

Oh Jesus, I feel like driving a big rig!!
Because I am high up more, I sometimes catching myself holding the wheel with both hands just keeping her straight, she doesn't pull to any side, just the optical illusion of the lift got to me! ![]() All the steering components are still good though. ![]()

That's great man. Did you also get the extended brake lines?? You might want to consider those if it really lifted you four inches. Cuz it would suck off road and to break a line.
