Default Joshua Tree

Took my new (to me) 2001 Disco2 w 69k miles out to Joshua Tree NP last weekend. Some great trails and scenery. We drove the Old Dale Rd/Crown Rd Trail and some some cool old settlements, gold mines and plenty of dirt, dust and even some mud! Pix below. Good times...

once i get a few more mods done to her i'll be happy. planning some desert rd runs this spring in mojave. i definitely like the look of your ride. is that a hannibal rack? what kind of brush guard/A Bar do you have? thanks.

my ride? i've got a hannibal rack and a genuine ladder. everything else is stock, although i'm putting on a genuine parts brush guard when i go back home for spring break in march.

Nice truck. I don't know how you got a complete set of DII Kalahari rims on it, but nice find. I've been trying to find another one of those wheels for years, just so I can have two spares. Nice to see you are using it, instead of just running around parking lots. Welcome aboard.

Looks good man! We've got an LE7 like that but in beige...beautiful truck. All the LE models came with those Kalahari rims stock

yes its an LE and i do get a lot of comments on the rims. thanks. they are nice...

i have some mods/work to do this month before i set off to do some intermediate 4x4 wheeling this spring.

1. replace u-joints w greasables
2. find/buy/add brush guard, rear lamp guards
3. new tires. 8 ply rated D BF Goodrich AT 265/75/16

Good start?
