We just got her. 2002 Series II SE7 with rear air. Runs great, looks great, only 46,000 miles and we are very satisfied. My wife is putting about 100 miles a week on it tops so we should be in for the long haul with this one.
One thing we had some trouble with yesterday. When my wife went to open the rear door the release lever became lodged in the plastic housing and now we can't get the door open. We tried locking and unlocking the doors, trying to push the door shut further, opening it from the inside, etc., etc. and we can't get it to budge. Anyone have any suggestions????? I can't get the pictures to upload, but I will as soon as I figure it out. |

Hi:
Try prying out the Land Rover green oval emblem from the rear license light. Do it very carefully with a butter knife or sumething with a blunt end with a piece of cloth involved on it. You should have a pretty nicer view of the rear door latch. Soak it in liquid wrench, WD40 or slilicone lubricant, (the latter the best one to use). Post results. Thanks, Carlos |
