if you paint the recovery points,it's just going to chip off everytime you use them.

Sideview- that looks fantastic!

Was yours the LR3 that was parked at Rovertym last Saturday (9 days ago) awaiting fitment of a new bumper? I'm assuming so based on parking lot pics & the color. I was down there at the shop & was impressed with the truck,, looks even better w/ the bumper on.

Yup musta be mine, thank you very much SCSL

Dan fashioned a light bar and we relocated the solenoid this weekend. Now just need some lamps ha. Also painted the recovery points black (yeah I'll probably have to do touch ups a lot). Cleaned up the front quite a bit I think.

Looks real nice, I must say. Way better looking than the ARB version for the LR3. I had trouble imagining what a decent bumper would look like on those.

I have a question though: with all the slots in the skid plate can it double as a cheese grater?

Only in California and it has to be real expensive cheese.

Yes, a real expensive one. Just remember that when you buy a watch that cost over 4 figures it will then take control of your life and make you photograph it with an equally expensive camera and post said pictures on an equally expensive web site.
You've been warned.

We were wondering what the extra weight would do to the already poorish gas mileage ....found out on the trek home from Virginia.

Averaged 14.8 on the trip up, never before have I seen the avg. mileage go above like 16.1....

Got the best mileage ever on the way home WTF? (Not complaining!)

That's why you also must purchase an equally expensive pda to help you remember equipped with a satellite feed so you can post said pictures from the middle of the desert.
