Default My Volvo

I know its not a Land Rover however....I need to come out and say it....I am a closet Volvo fan. And Yes I do like the "old mans" car the 240. I found one for sale the other day and I had to have it!!!
If there are any other Volvo Maniacs out there please let me know so I am not alone in this bizzare fettish.

That's one clean nice looking old volvo. I have to admit I wouldn't mind one in that body style with a diesel for a daily beater

Series, how does the parking situation work over there? Do you only get street lots?

I'm afraid I am not. However, I feel the need to buy you a smoking jacket and a pipe....

I live in south east London so its a bit of a "if you can park it,you got it" sorta thing. There are three of us in the house and we have 6 cars.

Me-109,rangie classic and the Volvo

Friend tom-Mini

Friend Rosie-Mini,Mitsubishi Evo8

The Evo and the Mini of Rosies are on the drive as they are the most expensive.My109 and the Volvo are in front of the Drive and Toms Mini is behind them and Rangie is accross the street.

I'm fucked if they go to permit parking in this part of London. ALOT of car enthusiasts live on my street as there are no real parking restrictions and people are attracted to the readily available parking in south London.

I'm lucky as we have 2 other Land Rover enthusiasts.mercedes enthusiasts Porsche enthusiasts and several more households that are serious Mini enthusiasts and each household has at least 4-6 cars per household.

It's funny..if you walk down Ash Grove where I live on a sunny day it's like a fucking car show with people walking down the street with a beer asking questions about your cars and spending the day watching people wash and wax their pride and joys.

I think answers your question...I am rambling.

Thats cool by me but for god sakes please keep your crack pipe away from me. I would have thought the image that the volvo has would somehow deter you from trying your"lets go for a ride and score some meth" fun that found us in so much trouble last Christmas! What do you think happened to me in the holding cell wearing a Elf costume....I felt like Jodie Foster in the accused.
