Default New avic f500 headunit and sub installed

Check out what I did today. New touchscreen headunit, sub and put in an inverter in the back. Pretty productive day I'd say.

Pretty Clean, I like it. How does it sound though?? I want to upgrade my stock system (04 Disco S) but somehow retain a clean, stock look...100w stock alpine not really doing it for my commute. That looks good. Have you upgraded any of the other speakers? Components?

thanks and it sounds great too.I like the look of the double din headunit but didnt want to cut apart my dash and reorganize everything so i found the avic that taps into your cars speakers and is powered by an amp. I already have the harmon kardon system so i didnt need a speaker upgrade. And then I put a 1500w rockford fosgate amp in the back for the subwoofer. So all in all it sounds amazing. I highly recommend.

It looks good. Do you have any rattles from the sub?... thats my main reason for not going with sub. I already have enough random noises from my rig!

I made my own box inside the cubby. and put some greatstuff as insulation to stop some rattling. its gives a nice solid kick, no rattles.

sweet.. I had a "system" in my car in High School and I was chasing mystery noises as long as I had it.. dynamat works, but you cant always get to all the spots where the noise may be coming from.... Do you have a grill for the speaker? So you dont put a hole in your new speaker by accident.

My discovery did a damn good job of not rattling at all with a nice sound system. The only thing that rattled was the fuel door (because the latch is messed up) and the rear bumper because it is messes up.
