Default overnighter to the ranch

some friends and I went out to the texas longhorn land the other night for a camping trip...there is about 7 acres of nothing but fields and trails. and yeah, thats my rover carrying ALL of our gear (inside and out). Why did I carry it all? Well ofcourse the Land Rover is the only vehicle trustworthy enough to get to the top will all of the food

gorgeous mountain views! Looks like a lot of fun man. What kind of rack do you have there? That is a nice size.. Looks like you have it mounted without the crossbars. I never used mine yet.. but the oem crossbars sketch me out a bit.

heck yeah, i hate all i had was my camera phone. fantastic views up here in the va mtns. its a surco rack mounted on the crossbars. its no full size SD rack, but it gets the job done for me, and i only paid $150 for it. as for durability, it hasnt failed me yet, i walk on it all the time while loading it, hasnt buckled. its also a very basic rack (not even any flooring, just cross bars) so its really customizable. im working on a good floor and some mounted loops for hooking bungee cords. also probably going to mount come permanant storage up there.

Sweet man, I'll have to keep my eye out for one. Can't beat that price.

there is nothing scarier that having a huge bull or longhorn stand beside your car and threaten to roll it down a hill or put his horns thru the window. whats worse, if he would have rolled us, he would have had access to all of our food!

The quality of pictures might not be great, but those views and shots are gorgeous.

the exhaust turned out fantastic! got the headmans fitted, full 3" pipe and we got a catco converter and the FM 50 on. it sounds like a dodge ram 1500 with duals on it or something, sounds terrific! someone has said this once before, but it surprises people when i start up the disco and it sounds like there is a much bigger engine under the hood. plugs and wires gave it more power off the line, and overall im pretty sure i got atleast 3 MPGs and a few horses out of it all (still calculating)

Where's this at?
I'm assuming it's private property, correct?

yeah its all private property...a friend of mine owns a cattle/horse/rodeo ranch, and this is his seperate piece of land where he keeps the long horns. only 1 barn at the bottom of the hills, the rest is wide open! he says he wants to put a small log cabin up on top, which would be killer as long as he doesnt pave a road up to it

wooo! was it routed the same as the stock exaust? if not, is it too much to ask to get a pic or two of the underside?
