so, i was kinda stoked this morning (being from south florida and all) seeing that we had a decent fall of snow for a good 2 hours. I had skiied plenty of times, but it still is pretty cool to see it. I took some pics of it in the housing complex, on the car, and then off of a dirt road after it began melting because it turned into rain...
we also found a white tail pelt that fell out of the back of a truck...we found it amusing and took some pics of it as well lol. fun morning, i realize this is a joke for you boys up north or out west, but...cmon i'm from florida, cut me some slack ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

My daughter is a NAtional Weather Service forecaster ( College degreed weather guesser) and she is on a AL TV station, She called last night to say it was going to, and was bummed, being from CT and a former competitive skier. She had to stay at the station all day ,and was pissed she couldn't drive up to N AL to see it. I told her not to fret, she'll be home in a few weeks for a few days and will be glad to head back south after all we have.

You have the exact same truck as me.. I always look at the roof rails on the 03-04 models to tell. I haven't seen any 04 discos in my area (memphis).
Land Rover is actually going to replace the engine because its burning oil.

Damn that Al Gore.... first he invents the internet so we spend time on these boards... and now he's invented global warming and it's snowing in the South! Now where are we Yankees to go when we get cold?

Nobody can find any time in history when it snowed in Bagdad, but it did the other day. Al will probably try to pin that one on George W, if Hillary hasn't already.

haha, we were driving out in the national forest. we were actually hoping to get some pics of some of the animals in the snow...well we found a deer, it was dead and obviously skinned and on its way to be finished up in the preservation process....probably fell outta the back of a pickup. it was pretty cool. we poked it.

yeah with a stick and a steel toed boot lol. if it wasn't wet outside, we would have thrown it on the roof rack and finished the curing process at my place...i mean its a free pelt. but the wonderful wet fur/decomp smell detered us that day.
