So I did. After a few weeks of ownership, I took my Sport out in a bit of mud and dirt along a road that crests the mountain range on the California Coast behind Santa Barbara. Although it took me hours to wash the crusty mud from underneath, It was a blast. I'm sure my Discovery was quite jealous.

LOL...it still looks clean! But those are some cool shots man! The more I see those Sports, the more I like them. They are sweet.

I forgot to mention, for those here that are not too sure about all the terrain response and air suspension systems (like I was), you're seeing my suspension in nearly it's tallest position. While not the optimal view to demonstrate that, I have about the same driving height as a Disco with a 2" lift. I was very impresed with that, and it helped me beleive in my decision.
