Well, despite my skepticism, you guys were right. I was walking by the truck this morning and heard the noise. Quickly I popped the hood and, Ill be damned, it was the e-box fan screaming. Thanks again for your assistance.
Is the fan made as part of the e-box or is it separate? I found one online for $130 sounds steep for a little fan. I also need the two rubber mounts that hold the oil filter body in place...Sorry, I don't know how else to describe it. Duc |

I glad we were able to help. It is very hard to diagnose a noise over the internet.
The fan is separate from the e-box. Keep checking for a better price I don't remember what the one cost that I installed. You should also be able to source the oil filter housing mounts from your local dealer. They should not be that expensive. |
