1996 LR 4.0 sub install need help

ok i have a 1996 LR 4.0 it has a clarion cd changer in it and the stock raido. My first ? is what wires do i tap in to to put a line converter in. i would like to ad more subs and what wire do i use for a remote wire. next ? what size speakers do i have in my doors i was thinking that i night upgrade them to. OOOO how do i get in to the speakers do i have to take off the door panel or do the covers just pop off thanks for all the help in advance

for a remote wire I would take off the panel under the steering wheel and tap into the red accesory wire. Its one of the larger gauge wires under there, and is red, probably about a 12 gauge wire. The door speakers are I believe 4 inches but need to be modified to fit in, you will need longer screws. To get to the speakers you do need to take the door cards, or door panels off. Do not try to pop the covers off, they are screwed into the back. If you have any other questions feel free to post or PM me. Hope everything turns out well!
