96 range rover alarm disable how to do it

hello every one i have a 96 range rover p38 i have parked it over night and came to it the next morning to driveit , the alarm is onn and the doors are locks........well i unhooked the battery for a week and came back to the rover and hook the battery up the doors unlocks every thing opens now...but the alarm its still on , every time i try to start the rover it shows on the display engine disable....................it been doing this kind of thind one a months and im tired of it .......................NOW how to disarm the alram to get the rover started...............but the hey wont unlock the driver door , it seems like they changed the door handle and lock init , but the rover and its unlock u can jump in and all but she wont start because of the alram is now is there a way i can disable the alarm to make it start , please need all the help thanks

take it to the dealer. need to encode a special number to get it started.

only full way to avoid this after getting it started is to lock with the key, and not have a bad latch.

thanks for the reply i toke it to the dealer they said they cant help me , but they could change the becm only 1600 dollars plus parts..............i cried and towe the truck home .......
