Currently am getting an intermittent MIL with DTC P0443 set. Where is the canister purge valve located under the hood? Occasionally I smell a fuel odor emanating from the vehicle but I can't place the source of the smell. Engine seems to run fine. 114k miles.

Haha - purge valve is under the hood, left side, follow the hard lines from the charcoal canister on the firewall. In my case, the plug had come loose and was almost falling off. I plugged it in securely and so far, no MIL has re-appeared. I love FREE fixes
