Default 97 Range Rover Windows Not Set Radio Not Working

I just had to change my battery and ever since it was replaced, I am getting weird error messages. None of my windows are set and my radio won't work. My radio display is hard to read but it says code something. What can I do to reset my windows and, more importantly, get my radio to work? I see something in some of the threads about a code, where do I get this code without taking out my stereo? I am afraid doing this would just cause more problems. I have had this truck for a year and a half and have constant electrical issues but I still love my Rover. Help!

Call the local Land Rover dealer...give them the vehicle vin#...they will look up the radio code. If you do not know the proper procedure ask for that too. Now this will ONLY be the correct code for the original radio that came with the vehicle...if it was swaped sometime in the past, then you will need to pull the radio and get the serial # off the radio and give that to the dealer.

The windows not being "set"?? Explain further please. Seat memory I would understand after a battery replacement...but the windows just go up and down...correct???

search this forum. you open the window, holding the switch down for a few seconds after it finishes, and then you raise the window, again holding the switch active until the window has been closed a few seconds. this will set each window. sunroof - same concept but you need to do it for the tilt and the slide functions.
