if your going to store the Rover and not drive it then disconnecting the battery is a good idea then you can charge the battery in the truck every 4 weeks while its disconnected.
Dont start and run the truck till your ready to drive it ,
you will be putting more water and other deposits into the oil and this will cause corrosion inside the engine.
Simply starting and idling isnt enough to work out these contaminates,
plus you might have issue with the catalytic converters running hot, this could lead to a fire
To reset the ABS/ steering system, connect the battery then start the truck then turn the wheel to left lock then right lock
Warning dont hold the wheel against the full lock, simply bounce off it,
this puts extra stress on the rack seals and can cause rack failure.
Then reset the clock.
Then reset the sunroof, to do that, push the roof button in and hold for 20 seconds till the roof clicks,
then slide the switch to the close position the roof will then close.
For the suspension after you have reset the other systems drive the truck and then cycle the raise / lower switch this should reset the airbags ,
do this only after you have driven a few miles,
also if this doesnt work it may take 10 starting cycles to get it to come back on .
If non of this works then you may have to head to the dealer for a computer hookup reset
