Not sure if I have a problem here or not...when I bought the car the salesman told me (and showed me) how the car lowers itself when it is placed in park and raises itself once started and moving. There was also an indicator on the dash. I've not been able to get it to do that again...does anyone know if I changed a setting? I've read and re-read the manual but I think I'm missing something. Thanks

did it come on in yellow or red/
Also too the symbols on the dash are for something wrong. The symbol on the nob is what you use to accurately tell what the vehicle is trying to do if its going up or down. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Although I am little weak on PTI and Nav functions.

just beneath the terrain response knob, you'll see the yellow downhill descent control button. to the left of that is the air suspension controls. it has the pic of the vehicle outline with the up/down arrows inside. hit the upward triangle part of the button to put it into offroad height (i think 2" or 2.5" above normal) or hit it once on the downward triangle part of the button to put it into access mode (i think 2" or 2.5" below normal). the dashboard display will show an icon identical to the ones next to the button to let you know which mode you're in and a message will display for a few seconds indicating what you've selected. in addition, if you pull up the "4x4 info" screen on the nav touchscreen, it'll show there as well.
you don't really have to worry about putting it back into normal suspension height. after reaching a certain speed, you'll get an alert that says to slow down or it'll return to normal height and it will change auto-magically. i usually just drive off. you'll notice a significantly bumpier ride in access mode. about the only thing to caution in access mode is if you're in a parking lot or driving into/out of steep driveways. you might fare better in normal mode going over bumps.
