Talking LH door open

Hi everyone!!!

I just bought my first RR 97 4.6HSE (with only 38K miles!) when we love it!! We also have a 96 Disco and we love that one too!

My problem seem to be on the RR. Everytime I close the passenger door it says "LH door open". I have slammed the door with no luck. And sometime it works but most of the time it doesn't. Any help would be great! Might be the outstation module? BTW, what does the outstation module do?

Chazz,
Quit slamming the door, that never fixes anything. Of course it does bring out the old service writer in me that says"SLAM IT AGAIN", and our hourly rate will be $$$$$.

Its in the door, part of the lock mechanism, you can wire them out but you won't get a warning if the door is open.

The switch is part of the lock actuator, the cable colour is blue and red. This goes to the door outstation.connector number C762l,you should be able to find it on rave in section S3
