Default My error codes. I think I figured it out

I took my 2000 Range 4.6 to smog. It passed the emission just not the functional. Here are the codes I got:

p0734 4th gear ratio
p1172 paperwork didn't say but from research here bank rich/lean?
p1175 same as above other bank
p0300 random misfire
p0308 x2 misfire cyl 8
p0305 misfire cyl 5

I had my plugs, wires and coil packs changed and bought an ODBII device. I erased all the codes and the only one I get back is the p0734, Now from research here if i get the p0734 along with the 1172 and 1175 I may need a MAF. But since erasing the codes about 100 miles ago all that comes back is the 0734, Is this still the MAF? If so the MAF is the device that hooks to the airbox with the wire coming of it? I checked the filter also it has no name brand on it.

One more question, is it difficult to change the check engine light?

Thank you kindly in advanced.

on changing the "Service Engine Soon" light or any bulb in the instrument cluster, it is not that hard. back your seat up, lower the steering wheel all thw way down. unplug your battery. remove the panel under the instruments that your kneed touch - i think there's about 4 covered screws for that. disconenct the air conditioinving vent from that panel as you remove it. unscrew instrument cluster fascia - there's a few screws, dont force anything - this is sh#tty cheap plastic and will break easily. once you get the screws out you will have to disconnect the fuel filler door switch from the back side. when the fascia is remove you will be able to see the instrument cluster - it is screwed on w i think four or more screws. use a magnetized screwdriver to remove and to re insert these. once its unscrewed you can move the cluster toward you and unplug the wiring. remove the cluster from the car and i think thats all you have to do to get at the bulbs which are on the back. turn it around and on the back side you should see little 'thumb-screw bulb holders.' by holding up to light you will be able to see which bulb needs to be replaced for 'service engine.' this will get you mostly there... its been a while since i've done it so i dont remember completely. you'll have to re-set your windows, sunroof, etc when done.

Thank you. I called my Indie mechanic and he wanted 200 for labor. Maybe I will try it myself.

Thanks again...
