I have used a similiar navigation system before that allowed you to mark your location and it would save that address in a list. Is there any such 'mark' option in this system or do you have to enter the address manually every time you want to save a location?

From the map screen, push the knob in to bring up menu options, then select:
Information>Address Book>Enter Current Position, then you can name the location. Give that a try... Hope this helps. You can also mark "waypoints" in offroad navigation.
