Default Newb hello

Helllo, I just took over ownership of a 99 RR 4.0. The car has spent it's entire life in my family and has been passed around a couple of times. I am looking to use it as a daily driver and occasional off road/ tow rig.

Currently the car has 90K on the clock and the engine still feels strong. The suspension on the other hand has me slightly worried as I have never been a fan of air bag suspensions. The compressor seems to be running too often which makes me think I may have leaky bags, but the car will sit at normal height while parked at night no problem. Do you guys have a good way to diagnose without having to bring the car to the dealer?

I am thinking about a swap to coils and have seen prices ranging from 400 to 1K, Being a newb in the RR world as far as aftermarket mods go I would love to hear any experiences.

So thanks for any answers you guys can provide and glad to see what you guys got going on here. I think I will spend the rest of the day doing some searching.

First off..... My family has had problems with air ride also!!!! If you are wanting a daily driver at stock ride hieght go with the Old Man Emu conversion.. You will be happy!!!!! If you look around soe you will find lifts, etc Talk to lifes lemon (a member on this forum) he just did that conversion!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I think if I am going to make the switch to coils(which is definately going to happen) I would like to lift the truck. Are there daily driver reliability problems with the lift kit options. Thanks.
