Hi all,
My first post so please help. I have just purchased my first Range Rover and I am having a problem with the radio, when its on it keeps flashing "MUTE" on the display, can anyone tell me how I turn it off? I think that its the older Clarion unit that is fitted in my Rangie. Also can anyone tell me if its possible to replace the older CLarion head unit for the newer Alpine head unit? Is it just a straight swap and will the steering wheel buttons still work? I know I could replace with an after market unit but I would prefer to keep the Radio as stock as possible. Kind regards Matt |

Hi!
I bought a used RR P38 and had the same problem; the radio was stuck on "mute". At first I couldn't find a button to un-mute the system, but then I accidentally found it on the steering-wheel. All text is worn out on my steering-wheel audiocontrols, but if you press the middle butten on your left hand side and hold it for a few seconds, you will get your radio back to normal mode. Regards, Martin |
