Hi guys, nice website and even better feedback all over the forum. I have read heaps of posts about Air suspension problems and I have one of my own.... (thats just one of the many problems). This is the first and LAST time I ever buy a Land Rover!!!
Can anyone help me out with my wierd Aur suspension problem? .... My Range leans to the right, both front and rear. Yet the left stayed up. It's been sitting at the spray painters for about 3months now, and finally finished! But all these lights and noises come up as well as having the suspension problem. I have tried chasing the problem and this is what I have... * Air Compressor Works (pump) * No leaks on any hoses * One way valve is fine * Solenoids seem suspect From here, I dont know where to head, I dont have a heap of money to take it to Land Rover, and being in Australia, the people there are just lazy, dont care, and really over charge. Anyones help would be appreciated. Oh, and my windows, mirrors aren't working at all... power to the switch board exists, is it possible the whole board died out??? ![]() |

ok more then likely you have a leak in the bags. With all the lites on you need to reset the ECU to get it to go back up alot of times.
Then take a spray bottle with dish soap and water and spray them, the leak will appear as it bubbles up. not uncommon for older rovers to go down after a long time of sitting. by the way hows the battery looking. DId you have that checked at all. |

Most folks here will tell you to go replace the EAS with springs. Easy solution.
Here is some information about your EAS and troubleshooting. http://www.rangerovers.net/repairdet...p.html#jumpers I was in a similar situation and knew I had one bad sensor. I manually operated the system to get it at a normal ride height. I then remoded the timer so that the system could not "self level" It sat perfectly... so I know that the problem is in the sensor and adjustment, not in the intergrity of the air bags or the lines. Try this first. you may be suprised (like me) that it is not a hardware problem, but more a sensor and signal problem. |
