Default Noise Sounds like a Whoopie cushion

2003 RR HSE mainly on the highway frequently emits a sound like someone sitting on whoopie cushion-seems to come from the left front quarter. Is this likely from the air suspension?
Also seems to lose anti freeze slowly,no visible signs, doesn't overheat, and sows no leaks when pressure tested.
Any thoughts, my mechanic guesses maybe waterpump?

First, find a new mechanic, there is nothing worse then a mechanic that guesses.
Are you in warranty, if so get to the dealer, thay will perform a pressure test to verify exactly where the leak is.
Do you see coolant puddles when your park. how much coolant are you going thru and do you smell the sweet smell coolant gives off when being burned?

five bucks says its the radiator, the coolant turns almost completely white with those and can be fooled

and at highway speeds they do drop down for highway height but it could be something loose underneath.

Thanks for the reply
Don't smell coolant and pressure test shows no leaks. It has 90K so no warranty left.I wondered if it was possible pressure was building up and a smallamount was going out the pressure release and if that also could be the noise?

It could be the infamous FART that modern Rovers with air suspension and computers emit. The Sports do it all the time. I still can't get my wife to believe it is not me!

You must have had the same Rover that I just bought about a month ago. 2003 RR. The beeping fart noise seems to come from the speaker. Really weird... And I'm leaking coolant too. I have to refill it once a month on average and you can see it all inside the engine bay by the resovior.
