Hi guys.
Does anyone know if there is a bleed valve or manual pump on the 2.5 TD to bring diesel back to the engine after running out? Also i've heard about draining the fuel filter of water. Does anyone know how? Thanks |

There is no bleed screw, all you need to do is switch on the ignition and the in tank pump will purge the system. As for draining water from the fuel filter, there is a sediment/water drain screwed into the bottom of the fuel filter. The filter is underbonnet, inboard of the EAS box towards the engine.Unscrew it and let any nasties out then tighten it back up again.Switch the ignition back on and watch for the bubbles in the clear fuel line that goes down to the injector pump to cease - the engine should then fire up easily.
