To do it right you need T4/Testbook or Rovacom so that you can watch the IAC (Idle Air Control) counts. When adjusted properly it should be between 15-30 counts.
You need to go for a nice little drive, a few miles at least and it has to be up to normal operating temp. Then remove the small cap on the idle adjust screw. This cap is silver aluminum color on the top of the plenum very near air inlet. A self tapping sheet metal screw and a pair of pliers works well to remove it. Then using a 3/16" allen wrench turn the idle screw accordingly with the engine running until the IAC counts are between 15-30.
