Default p38 stalled while water fording

Hey everyone, I took my p38 out last night and 2X while I was going through a pond my engine stalled. Luckily I was able to start the truck back up by turning the key and pumping the gas a little bit but I still found it odd that it stalled, and twice in one night! Last year I went through water much deeper than what I went through last night without the engine having any problem at all. Does anyone have any ideas of what could have changed? I haven't changed anything since last year except a new battery and a few new electronics, but i would think that would start a fire before shutting off my engine haha. If anyone could help me out with what it might be so i know in the future it would be much appreciated. Thanks!!
-Andrew

Not sure about the stall...But be careful when starting in water that you don't suck any into the engine!!!! Check the common problems, fuel pump, maf, etc etc

Something like that happened to me once. It was after I had it serviced once. They power washed the engine and later it wouldn't start every once in a while.
Eventually it started working fine.. I think the p38 has a problem with water. Once it gets out of whatever its in it should be fine. Sorry I cant help more.
