Default P38 tips

Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any tips on making my rangie sound/perform a little better. It sounds and seems a little underpowered to me. I've got suggestions so far to change all the spark plugs, change all the ignition wires, go with a new exhaust (working on that), new headers maybe, but is there anything else i can really do? I already have a K&N filter with custom box and had an AWE tune done. Any suggestions/comments? Thanks!
