I just purchased a 97 RR 4.0 over the weekend. I noticed while driving it around town (less than 40mph), while making a turn I hear a single pop sound. It isn't loud and it doesn't happen everytime but it is pretty consistent. I hear the same pop sound when I take my foot off the break and start moving from a complete stop. I only hear it when moving/turning at slow speeds. Does anyone have an idea as to what it could be?? possibly a CV joint or some other suspension issue?
I am taking it to Import Specialists (indep. rover place in nj) this weekend to have it thoroughly checked out but I figured I would post and see if anyone has had this problem and could give me some insight. |
