Ask the guys at BMW Bluetooth Retrofit Information - they are very helpful. (Your RR has the same setup as a BMW X5)

Not too sure about the German language setting, but when you look at your main screen, you'll see a group of settings. Upon looking directly towards the screen, Click on the one towards the lefthand corner, that should be your SET button. Next page will pop up and the first setting towards the top is your LANGUAGE. Click on it and rotate setting adjuster clock wise and look for the "USA". That should allow your vehicles setting to configure to the ENGLISH language.

Well, did it work? Hate it when advice given is not acknowledged.
