Default Quick EAS question

I just purchased a 2000 Range HSE. Of course I am over concerned about the EAS after reading the site. I have two questions.

1) How often should the compressor run?

2) My Rover seems to stay level over night. No dropping or if it does it isn't noticeable. When I leave in the morning the "load light" (the bottom light on the button that controls the EAS) stays lit and the standard height blinks the lower light eventually goes out and the standard height light stays lit. Is this normal? I am guessing it is moving from load to standard and that's why it is doing this, but I am not putting it in loan when I park it.

Thank you

Hi-What you are describing is perfectly normal behaviour for your EAS. On start up the vehicle will show the light sequence you desribed. It may also re-level itself automaticaly again as well. They are well known to re-evaluate the ride height at stop lights as well. Nothing to be concerned about. I was on the drive way once talking to my neighbor and the truck adjusted itself in front of us.I hadn't driven it for 2 days!!! The damn things are always thinking.......

Your truck is fine man. If your pump runs for longer than 2 min after start up it may be getting worn.

Thank you. Yea it seems like that compressor goes through a lot of monkey motion.
