1. I have check fuses all appear to be in order.
2. Amp appears to be on , light inside is on and is getting warm.
3. Battery is preducing correct current 12.9v i think it was.
4. Doesn,t appear to be any sign of moisture in the boot[rear].

I have the rear entertainment package harmon Kardon logic 7.
1. Dvd is working (able to watch movie in rear seat, but no sound).
2. cd working (can see numbers going up)
3. Phone is pairing , I can make calls but no sound .
4. when i press the listening button (on the steering wheel )no beep ,neither audible response, but it follows my commands.
5. Also remote control appears to be on ,but has no affect on the system.

I presently reside in The Bahamas there are no land Rover dealships on my Island, but there was a tech in town and he checked my RR ,there appears to be no problem with my vehicle?

Please help

Mr Miller

Default No sound from speakers on 2005 Range Rover

I just started having the same problem with my 2005 Range Rover. Everything is fine except no sound from the speakers. Started last week when I was driving down the road, it just cut out. I've checked the fuses under the dash and unplugged the battery for an extended period of time with no luck. Is there any other fuses that might need to be checked besides the ones under the dash? Where is the amplifier located?
Since car is out of warranty would like to try to fix myself. Speakers are HK.

Default Amp

Might try to re-seat the amp cable. Other than that I had the same problem on my Discovery, ended up being the Deck went bad. It's hard to tell if it's the deck or amp that goes bad, good luck guys!

Why wouldn't you have this repaired under warranty?

Where's the amp located on a O5 Rover? Re-seating the cable might work if I can get to the amp. Are there any other fuse boxes besides the one in the glove box?
I don't have the owners manual for the veicle
Warranty went out on this vehicle in April 09.

Default No sound from speakers

Got the speakers working again. Wennt to the dealership and they had to replace the amp in the back of the vehicle. Once that amp goes out, all the speakers will turn off. Once the new amp is installed, software has to be loaded to the radio for the amp to work. Hope this helps... The amp kit is not cheap, around $1200.
Cheers
