Default Radio works but can't hear sound

I have a 2002 Range Rover HSE. The radio works, but I can't hear any sound; I can't hear the audio on the navigation either. I think it's the amp, but I can't even find it. I've checked the fuses and they're good. Any suggestions?

I have a '06 RRSSC with the rear entertainment. I get the ipod videos to play on the headrest monitors but the only way to hear what is playing is if you use headphones. I can get sound if i connect it to the aux port but then we get no video obviously. So my question is, is there are way to get the sounds from devices connected to the the AV1 / AV2 ports thru the speakers???

They Made a Range Rover HSE in 02' I have one..

My dad has had this problem a few times in his P38 and just ends up replacing them.. There is something inside the radio that shorts out..

www.roverville.us can fix them now.. Does your cd player still work?

everyone will have to understand. bushranger is from chicago and therefore an arsehole. hey bushranger, keep it in chi town where it belongs and people expect it. pointless being that way on here though. anngybee, chances are that you have a damaged/blown becm. do you have problems with the battery going dead overnight or strange fault messages and such? if so then its prob the becm. there is a guy i know that does repairs of them (transfer of info and all!) for a real bargain compared to what the stealer will charge you. private me and i will give you his contact info. as for amps. there are 5 on your ranger. one in each of the doors and one over the subwoofer in the back above the cd changer. it is possible that you have a wiring problem but most of the wiring problems are actually the becm as it handles most of the interior electrical. hope this helps and one last thing. never jump your ranger from another vehicle if you can in any way avoid it. if you MUST do this then make sure that you ground it on the engine block lift ring NOT on the battery neg as this will almost always damage if not destroy the becm. hope this helps and let me know if there is anything else i might help you with. and ignore the arseholes in life, cause they are just full of shite.
